@Formigal: Snow trip

It's has been four years since we went on a ski trip...oh how I missed it!! We decided to go to Formigal because it only a five hour drive from Madrid. We spent most of our time in Anayet has it was the best for the kids, the baby stayed at it's mini-club and the older one had ski classes in the morning and also went to the club in the afternoon.
Located in the Aragon Pyrenees and it has some good kilometers of ski tracks divided by áreas like Portalet, Sextas, Sarrios, Izas and Anayet. Since our hotel was in Formigal we went by car to ski área, there were buses but with the car we had a more flexible Schedule.
In Anayet we ate almost every day in the same place that was the restaurante near the Ski school, there was another place that sold the "bocadillos" (sándwich) but we wanted to eat real food and the other had more options although I must confess we did repeat the pizza several times. On one day I did manage to shift from pizza to a mushroom risotto to which I added olive oil and parmegiano cheese and it was great. We had a four day forfait that we bought online so it would be cheaper and then we had to get them in Sextas (Website: http://www.formigal.com/), wednesdays are the cheapest days.
I really liked this sky resort, it has a lot of variety of tracks for those more skilled and for those with kids it is great since they have good services to help you keep them entertain while you enjoy the snow.
