@Consuegra: A great lunch and a visit to the Windmills

Another weekend that was promising to be boring and filled with pharmacy products, untill the sun was shinning so strong that no one wanted to stay inside. Searching the internet for nice villages around Madrid I found Consuegra, famous for it's well preserved windmills.
We went at lunch time and our first choice was the Alfar but it was full and we ended up at Taperia Gaudy. After, we went to the Castle (the Castillo de la Muela) that was originally built in the X century and later recoverd by the Knights Hospitaller. We weren't able to visit it because it was closed by the time we arrived.
There are twelve windmills built in the XVI century and depicted in the stories of Don Quixote. One of the great things of going up the hill of the castle and windmills was the sunset, one of the most beautiful I've seen.

In the restaurant Taperia Gaudy we had a great three cheeses salad and some Entrecôte. It was also full when we arrived but we were able to eat in the bar, they had a special menú that included some great things like these.
