I love the food markets in Madrid. I'm not quite sure which one is my favorite but I do love going to the San Antón in Chueca. It is a traditional market in the 1st floor selling veggies, fruit, fish and meat. Upstairs there are the food stalls where you have a good range of "tapas" and also some sweet desserts. Some spanish regions are represented there and also some countries like Greece and Japan.
This time we went there on a fast visit to drink a "clara con limón" (beer with a lemon Fanta) and also a small tapa, we choose the olives and the "pulpo a la féria" (octupus with olive oil and pimentón) one.
