@Cuenca: Hanging houses and an unfinished cathedral

Our destination for the day: Cuenca in Castilla-La Mancha. We stopped first at Vips for breakfast and let me tell you their new toasted croissants with strawberries, bananas and cinnamon is quite delicious.  The great thing about Cuenca is the colorful buildings mixed with the great architecture, no wonder that UNESCO classified it as World Heritage, it is worth preserving.
We stopped to eat it was almost 3 p.m. and we decided to have lunch in the Plaza Mayor. All the good restaurants were already packed so we went to the only one that had available tables, do you know what that means in Spain? That it is a crappy restaurant!! All the good ones are full and dirty...so they say...
We ordered a typical dish called "Morteruelo", Morte means death in Portuguese. It's actually some sort of stew transformed into a paté made with meat, bread and spices. Not bad actually, plus we ordered the typical "chorizo" and the "lomo al ajillo", that is pork with garlic.

Moving on...in the same square you can see the gothic Cathedral that looks unifinished to me.
But we wanted to see the "casas colgadas" and when we arrived and St. Pablo's bridge and see them, I could see the look of disapointment on Mami's face. I think she tought they were bigger or something.
We decided to cross the bridge and I start freaking out, it is an iron bridge but you walk on wood and it shakes a bit. I know they say that bridges are suppose to otherwise they would fall, but come on!! It's scary ok! I'm not so good with heights.

We got up to the Castle neighbourhood where the view was amazing and it was the end of our visit.
