@Oviedo: Fabada in Astúrias!

So this week I had two meetings: one was close to Bilbao but I couldn't even see it and we ended up eating "chuletón de buey" at the usual place that is the: Goiuria in Durango. It's a bit expensive (at least for me) but with great food and a wonderful view.
On the next day we drove from Bilbao to Oviedo it was around tree hours in a Kia-whatever-I-go-very-slow-anyway rental car. I choose to wear a Little black dress because it is very confortable and always between the formal/informal if you choose the right accesories. It was November and north of Spain so I went prepared with a plaid jacket that I almost didn't use because it was 23º in Oviedo...yeahh baby! Summer time in Autumn!

The meeting was in the morning than we had another of debrief lunches but this time we had no reference so we ended up in El Doble. We had the Fabada Asturiana that you can see in the photo, a highly nutritious bean stew that was delicious, we also ordered a selección of cheeses from the región afterall Astúrias is the home of the Cabrales cheese  and then we had some Patatas Bravas just because we felt we need some more carbs. Great meal at a great Price.
How I love Astúrias...
